The Slovak Championships 2024 in mountain biking took place in the beautiful setting of Bankov, Košice. We would like to express our gratitude to the organizer Proefekt Košice for the opportunity to participate and support this great event with TrackHead. This prestigious event attracted numerous mountain biking enthusiasts and culminated in the participation of Peter Sagan, who announced that these races would be the final ones of his career.
The championships were held on the challenging terrain of Bankov, known for its technical sections and steep climbs. The course was designed to test the skills and technique of all participants. From early morning, cyclists of various categories gathered at the start. The atmosphere was full of tension and anticipation, with spectators eagerly cheering for their favorites at every climb and descent.
One of the biggest attractions for fans was the participation of Peter Sagan, the multiple world champion, holder of the Tour de France green shirts, and countless victories in the world. Thank you Peter for your participation.
TrackHead prize for the fastest lap was awarded. This prestigious award, worth 259 euros, was won by the Slovak champion Matej Ulík.
After a thrilling battle and heroic performances, Matej Ulík secured first place in the men’s elite category, confirming his dominance on the Slovak mountain biking scene. Peter Sagan took second place, and Florián Papcun came in third. This result confirmed the high level of Slovak cyclists and their ability to compete on the international stage.
The company JER had a booth at the event where visitors and competitors could learn more about TrackHead and try out its accuracy and functionality. The booth attracted many curious visitors, who appreciated the innovative approach and possibilities that TrackHead offers.

The Slovak Championships 2024 in MTB XCO in Bankov, Košice, were one of the most significant cycling events of the year. With the participation of Peter Sagan and excellent performances by the competitors we look forward to future editions and new cycling stars.
